Paris has free wifi

Hanging out in Paris waiting for my next flight (a short 1hour trip to Rennes Airport) and using the wifi to send an update.  It's 1:30am my time and I didn't sleep a bit on the 7.5hour flight over here...so that's a bummer.  Good news is I caught up on some movies I'd been meaning to watch!

Here is a general idea of how my French is working so far: I can grab the beginning of every sentence and maybe one vocab word in-between.  So sometimes I know what the sentence is about but I have  no idea what exactly was said (i.e. I hear, "Bonjour, french french french cheval french french"..."Okay...he said cheval...that means horse... is he calling me a horse? Does he see a horse nearby? Are we having horse in today's meal?..." etc.)

This actually worked out for me when going through security and I caught the world for "belt" -- I proudly lifted my shirt and displayed to the man that I was not wearing a belt.  I did not consider that if I was wrong I was presenting a possibly lewd gesture.  Oh well, c'est la vie.
