Back to motherhood!

Started my day with three cups of coffee. Bless this coffee machine
and my solitude which allowed me to actually enjoy this coffee instead of gulping it!
Breakfast- don't worry this was just round one
Took two metros and got lost on the street for an hour as I tried to
find my way to the history of medicine museum.  When I finally arrived I saw
this sign which stated that the museum was closed and would not open
until after I was long gone from this part of the city.
I was pretty bummed.  While there I met an Italian man
(who may or may not have been a creep)
And managed to have a whole conversation with him in French. It was
a long conversation too!  At then end he told me next time I came to
Paris I needed to call him for some real Italian pizza (this may have been
creepy) and gave me his number.
I spent a lot of time lost on this road, which I think is pretty metaphorical for my life,
where I have also spent a lot of time lost on this road
Went to the Latin Quarter for lunch and had this great sangria

Accompanied by this chicken burrito (don't judge me for not eating French
food- I eat French food literally every day)

Accidentally visited the Fountain of Saint Michel
Went to see the Eiffel tower and wandered for 30 minutes starting to feel hopeless
Then I turned the corner and TA DAAA

It was a great last day in Paris.  I was truly devastated to leave.
We got home around 11pm last night and then got McDonalds for dinner
I suddenly felt like I was in college again, eating Nuggets* at 11pm.
Strangely, it didn't seem that unusual for them to be eating this late- I was
the only one that found it comical.  (McDonalds here has a curry dipping
sauce for Nuggets- it's pretty awesome)

I'm back in St Malo now and missing my freedom a bit already - I think I might plan another weekend trip soon...maybe Marseilles?

  1. Why did you asterisk "nuggets"?

    I'm very curious.

    I love you
