Happy Valentines Day!

I spent most of my Saturday exaggerating a cold as an excuse to hide in my room and watch Netflix- real adult, I know.
The kiddos entertained themselves by coming up with a dance number to perform for their parents as a Valentines Day gift...unfortunately they disagreed too much on the choice of choreography and we never got to actually see the final dance.
I reappeared around dinner time and ate the best meal I have had in France. We had scallops (fresh from the ocean) - they were so fresh that we had an appetizer with them (carpaccio) and ate them again for our main course, we finished with Laetitia's homemade lemon meringue pie, accompanied with two glasses of wine and a Pina Colata (because Laetitia was craving one - so why not? She added ice cream to the mix-- A bit unusual but delicious)
What fresh scallops look like

Anyway- while being in this country is an incredible experience and I am very glad I did it - I feel like today is a good day to tell you all how much I miss you and love you.  Thank you for reading about this chapter in my life, and thank you for helping me write so many others.  You are all so special to me.  I hope you were able to spend this day with your loved ones - I am sending lots of love your way!

Bisous Bisous!
